Effective Date: 1/10/25

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the free trial submission process for Genius Docket, a legal document preparation service provided by TenneX Legal. By submitting a free trial request, you (“User” or “Attorney”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Free Trial Submission

1.1. The free trial submission is available to individual attorneys seeking to evaluate the Genius Docket service before committing to a subscription.

1.2. Each attorney is permitted one (1) free submission to assess the quality of work provided by Genius Docket.

1.3. Submissions must not exceed 100 pages in total length or require extensive legal research, multi-jurisdictional compliance, or appellate-level drafting.

1.4. The free trial does not include:

  • Complex litigation matters (e.g., regulatory/arbitral disputes, multi-party lawsuits, or appeals)
  • Legal document bundles requiring extensive review
  • Highly technical or industry-specific legal documents requiring niche expertise

2. Turnaround Time and Delivery

2.1. Due to high demand, the estimated turnaround time for free trial submissions is 72 hours from the time of receipt.

2.2. Users acknowledge that the turnaround time is an estimate and may vary depending on the complexity of the request and current submission volume.

2.3. Deliverables will be provided in editable document format via the Genius Docket portal.

2.4. If the submission is incomplete or lacks necessary details, delivery may be delayed, and additional information may be requested.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1. Attorneys must provide clear, concise, and accurate information to facilitate efficient drafting.

3.2. Users acknowledge that Genius Docket provides document preparation services only and does not offer legal representation or advice.

3.3. All deliverables must be reviewed and approved by the requesting attorney before filing or use in any legal proceedings.

3.4. Attorneys agree that any misuse or misrepresentation of the Genius Docket service may result in termination of access.

4. Confidentiality and Data Protection

4.1. All submissions are handled with strict confidentiality. Genius Docket does not disclose user-provided information to third parties except as required by law.

4.2. Users must ensure that any submitted information complies with applicable confidentiality and client protection laws.

4.3. Genius Docket employs reasonable security measures to safeguard submissions but does not guarantee absolute data security.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1. Genius Docket is provided on an “as-is” basis with no warranties, express or implied.

6.2. Subscription options, pricing, and terms are outlined in the Genius Docket Subscription Agreement, available upon request.

6.3. Users acknowledge that the free trial does not create an obligation to continue using the service but does not entitle them to additional free submissions.

7. General Provisions

7.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

7.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through mediation before pursuing litigation.

7.3. TenneX Legal reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
